Organelles and Inclusions
This will teach you to:
- Identify each of the following structures in light microscopic preparations,
and give an account of their function in general terms: nucleus, nucleolus,
nuclear chromatin material and cytoplasm; Golgi apparatus.
- Identify in a transmission electron micrograph the major
cytoplasmic organelles that are present in a cell.
- Identify different common subcellular inclusions, and discuss them
in terms of their known functions.
